Sorry Pepsi fans
I can't let the other kids see this photo! Sean took Megan out for dessert one night after we left the kids home with leftovers to eat while we went out without them.
$25 photo from the rafting people but we paid for it since it was the only reminder that we went. A great afternoon on the Colorado River with just a few rapids and a little paddling. We also saw 2 bald eagles. We did not jump off the cliff though, nor did we shame Sean into jumping like some of the other families in our group did to their dads. We just enjoyed each shocked face as they popped up in the water. Frigid. One guy said his intestines were cold. The 60s and cloudy weather was enough coldness for us. The girls wore wet suits even though the guides assured us we wouldn't need them. Whatever, we were coming from the heat, to us Colorado was chilly.
Took the girls out to pizza the first night. Patrick was having a fit about not wanting to go (and wanting to watch TV instead I think) so Sean stayed with him. Hernando's. Good food plus 20,000 decorated dollar bills posted on the walls. We did not have any to contribute.
We are tired and fuzzy.
Playing outdoor music at the resort. Very cool area, we would definitely stay there again.
Cozy in the booth at breakfast with a colorful moose overhead.
Great place but breakfast for 6 adds up on vacation. I hit the grocery store after this.... cereal city, kids.
Yes, because look who demanded an $8 milkshake for breakfast. Ah, vacation.
Tried to lose the kids in the maze and got pretty close with the Anna/Emily team. They were not happy.
Best tacos ever at this Asian-Mexican fusion restaurant. I would go back just for these. Pepe's Fish Tacos, that might be the name.
