We are in the midst of the summer of small appliance replacement, as so many have died on us recently. Toaster, bread machine, iced tea machine, margarita machine... Well, one was an upgrade, thanks to a very generous houseguest who most certainly deserves the title of Mo Mo the Great. We are still in awe of this fabulous gift and busted it out in a time of need on Monday; made a comfort drink for our dear frazzled friend who had the intruder (fyi, nothing was taken, but alarming nonetheless). Anyway, it definitely does the job and I already came up with some new recipes, including one for an amaretto stone sour smoothie. Sean celebrated his week of call being over and heck, I was celebrating too!
Another cause for celebration: Netflix rewarded us for finally watching that documentary and sent us Hot Tub Time Machine. Exactly what you expect, give your brain a break. Awesome (said in a very high voice).
